USE THE NEW EU LABEL LAWS TO SAY NO TO GM FOOD

Greenpeace has also compiled a "Shoppers Guide to GM" which gives information on individual food products. You may find this helpful when making your choice of which products to buy, and which to avoid. The items are marked with ‘traffic lights’:

traffic lightsNOT OK. Red for companies or products where Greenpeace could not get assurances from the company who make them that they do not contain GM ingredients or do not contain ingredients that come from animals who have been fed GM crops.

OK SOON. Amber for companies that have removed GM ingredients and have also made a commitment to ensure that their products do not contain ingredients from animals fed on GM crops but who have not yet completed this process.

OK NOW. Green for companies or products where Greenpeace have had written assurances that they are non-GM, including non-GM in animal feed.
